The ‘Currents’ Lightform Sculpture was born by the multidisciplinary collaboration with designer & director Gmunk, artist & technologist Philip Reyneri and artist & musician Peter Clark.
The piece is inspired by the interaction of magnetic fields.
The base geometry was generated by an in-house digital algorithm that produced a three-dimensional landscape of curving folds and dots.
The material of the two sculptural elements is CNC-milled foam.
Through the implementation of other media, such as projection mapping and music, the piece generates dynamic expressions of lights and emotions.
