THE PRACTICE —
Architecture as the most personal act
At T&V Architects, the design of a private home demands more than technical expertise — it requires an intimate reading of how a client lives, moves, entertains, and rests. From the first concept sketch to the final placement of a brass fitting, the practice brings to every residential commission the same rigour, sensitivity, and international ambition that has defined its work across continents.
What sets T&V Architects apart is the rare ability to hold the full arc of a project — from strategic vision to material resolution — without ever losing sight of the human experience at its centre.

THE PROJECT —
Onslow House —
Quiet authority in one of London’s most coveted addresses
Set within the elegant Georgian and Victorian streetscape of South Kensington, this private residence has been conceived as a complete architectural statement — a home where every room, every material, and every detail has been resolved with the precision of a practice that has delivered complex projects at the highest level across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
Having operated internationally at scale, T&V Architects brings to each private commission the systems, relationships, and experience that only a practice of genuine global reach can provide — from the coordination of specialist contractors and artisans to the sourcing of exceptional materials from across the world.

PRINCIPAL BEDROOM —
Calm as architecture
In the principal bedroom suite, the architecture recedes so that calm can fill the space entirely. A low-profile bed in warm linen sits against an open wardrobe of dark figured walnut, its interior glowing with concealed LED lighting that turns storage into a display of quiet craftsmanship.
Through an enfilade of doors, a dressing room and sitting area unfold — the sequence of spaces moving from private to intimate with a naturalness that only careful planning can achieve. Sheer floor-length curtains diffuse the light from tall windows, casting the herringbone oak floor in a warm, shifting glow throughout the day.

“This is architecture conceived not for photographs, but for life — where every decision, from the structural concept to the placement of a single brass fitting, is made in service of the people who will inhabit it.”

KITCHEN & MATERIAL DETAIL —
Where the utilitarian
becomes ceremonial
At T&V Architects, the kitchen is never merely functional — it is an exercise in material intelligence. A thick slab of white quartzite forms the island worktop, its veining chosen for its particular quality in morning light. Set into the stone, a brushed brass tap of sculptural simplicity rises above an undermount sink with an elegance that makes the everyday feel considered.
Cabinetry in dark lacquer and aged bronze hardware lines the walls, while under-shelf lighting in warm white creates depth and warmth that transforms the kitchen into one of the most considered rooms in the house. This is the kind of detail — a single fitting, perfectly specified — that reveals the difference between a well-designed home and an exceptional one.
WALK-IN WARDROBES & DRESSING ROOMS —
Where storage becomes ceremony
The dressing rooms designed by T&V Architects are conceived as private sanctuaries in their own right. Full-height cabinetry in smoked walnut with bronze-framed glass doors lines both walls of a generous corridor, each unit internally lit to display its contents with the precision of a luxury boutique.
A rooflight introduces natural light from above, flooding the space with a diffused clarity that makes colour decisions effortless. At the centre, a tufted velvet ottoman in tobacco provides a moment of warmth and repose. These are rooms where the rituals of dressing are elevated — where every morning begins with intention.
