ABOUT

Paola Tuosto
Design Director
MArch (Dist), MA Digital Arch (RIBA, ARB)
Paola Tuosto is an Italian/British architect with twenty years of international experience, specilising in architecture and high-end interior design. Her training reflects an international outlook from the very beginning: she graduated with distinction in Architecture from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II in 2004, before pursuing further studies abroad with a Post Master in Interior Design at the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. For her thesis, she moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, to deepen her research in Architecture and Design, an experience that further strengthened her ability to navigate different design cultures with confidence and ease. She completed her academic formation with a Post Master in Digital Architecture at INARCH, Rome (2005).
From her university years, Paola demonstrated the drive and ambition to cross geographical and cultural boundaries in pursuit of excellence, an attitude that would go on to define her entire professional career.
Her career began at some of the most prestigious architectural practices in the world. In Italy, she collaborated with Studio Fuksas in Rome, where she gained extensive experience on global-scale projects, including the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, the Giorgio Armani flagship store and showroom in Tokyo, and projects across the United Arab Emirates. She went on to work as Project Leader on international projects at Metrogramma in Milan.
In 2010, she joined Foster + Partners in London, one of the world’s most acclaimed architectural firms, contributing to the Walbrook office building project in the heart of the City. She subsequently worked on the design of Bloomberg’s new European headquarters in London, as well as large-scale mixed-use schemes in France, China, Egypt and Brazil. Her international journey took her back to Denmark, where she contributed to the design of the new Ferring Pharmaceuticals headquarters in Copenhagen, a project that ideally closes the circle with her European academic roots, consolidating a career built across diverse cultures, languages and design contexts. She also worked on the Principal Place mixed-use scheme in the City of London, one of the largest planning applications ever submitted in the British capital, encompassing a commercial tower, a residential tower and retail spaces at the base.
Currently, she works as a Design Director at London-based practice T&V Architects.
Lorenzo Vianello
Design Director
IUAV and AA MArch (RIBA, ARB)
Lorenzo Vianello is an Italian/British architect with over twenty years of international experience, whose career has been shaped by some of the most influential and celebrated practices in the world. His training too reflects an early and deliberate international ambition: he graduated in Architecture in Italy in 2005 from the IUAV University of Venice, one of Italy’s most respected schools of architecture, before moving abroad to broaden his horizons and deepen his research.
From 2005 to 2009 he collaborated with globally renowned firms including OMA (the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, founded by Rem Koolhaas), Studio Fuksas and UNStudio, gaining a rigorous and wide-ranging design perspective across some of the most ambitious architectural projects of that era.
From 2009 to 2011 he pursued advanced research at the Design Research Laboratory of the Architectural Association in London, one of the most prestigious and experimental architecture schools in the world. There he developed his final thesis under the guidance of Patrik Schumacher, partner at Zaha Hadid Architects. His thesis explored the concept of a proto-tower, a system of algorithms capable of generating high-rise buildings with optimised properties tailored to different environments and functional programmes, placing him at the forefront of computational and parametric design.
Lorenzo then joined Foster + Partners, where he became part of the Apple Stores Innovation Team and the in-house Workplace Consultancy Team. In this role he specialised in office space planning, from strategic analysis through to implementation, and developed advanced algorithmic tools for generating efficient floor layouts, combining technical rigour with design intelligence.
Throughout his career Lorenzo has been a committed educator and academic contributor, having lectured at the Architectural Association, Oxford Brookes University, London South Bank University, Inchbald School of Design, University of Kent and Southeast University in China, bringing his expertise to the next generation of architects across three continents.
Lorenzo currently works as a Design Director at T&V Architects and a lecturer at the National Film & Television School.

How We Work
T&V Architects is a London-based studio for architecture, interior design and art, founded by two Italian architects, Paola Tuosto and Lorenzo Vianello. With over twenty years of combined experience at some of the world’s most acclaimed international practices, including Foster + Partners, Studio Fuksas, OMA and UNStudio, the directors bring to every project a rare blend of technical mastery, creative vision and the design sensibility deeply rooted in Italian architectural tradition.
Our approach is grounded in a genuine curiosity for people, places and materials. In each project, our design vision merges with our client’s culture, mission and values, giving rise to bespoke solutions that are both innovative and deeply considered. We draw on continuous research in materials, digital strategies and emerging technologies to deliver spaces that are not only beautiful and functional, but meaningful.
Creativity and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that building inventively requires a passion for new technologies and a desire to humanise them, creating environments where people feel inspired, comfortable and at ease.
